Man, the Kratos's Fi in Ragnarok is sensational, moving to tears (not ironically) to see him embrace the subjectivity of his feelings, trust his values without needing to rationalize and see the practicality in every action. A little spoken passage catches my attention, when they are releasing the beast in Svartalfhein, Mimir questions Kratos about his concern for the creature and he instead of answering that he is looking for resources or that he needs to strengthen himself for the journey (as he did in the previous GOW) he simply remembers that he was chained and held captive, he knows how bad that is and that's why he doesn't want anyone to go through the same thing. It's those little things that make this character so well developed.
