I have an ENFP comment here somewhere, but I can't find it to delete it. After revision, he is an ESFP. Luffy goes for what he likes to do personally. Fi should be obvious. When he protects someone that's for his pride and morals, not for ethical comfort of the group. He is hyper-focused on objects, not on people. He seeks sensory stimulation everywhere whether in food, partying, music and even clothing styles. He is Se-Ni He is not an abstract thinker, he is very grounded in reality. His ideals and dreams concern physically attainable objects. Adventure and exploration are key ideals to the xSFP, they need constant new stimuli. I first mistook his ingenuity for Ne dom. That was a mistake, the random abilities he comes up with are all part of him trying out something new in the real world. Finding out that specific actions lead to reactions. It's not abstract ideas that come to him, it's sensory physical ideas. Lastly, for all the humor Luffy brings us. When he gets into a focused Ni mode with INTJ aspiration he is incredibly intelligent and perceptual. Luffy instantly pierced through Sanji's actions and intentions on Big Mom's island and did not accept any of the lies Sanji used to cover up his personal feelings. The same goes for his interaction with Robin at Enies Lobby and even a lot earlier with Nami's scene, to just name a few.
Biografia
An ambitious yet kind and rather dense young man who has eaten the Gum-Gum Fruit (Gomu Gomu no Mi), turning him into a rubber man. He dreams of following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Captain "Red-Haired" Shanks, by becoming a great pirate. In fact, he plans to find the titular treasure and become the new "Pirate King." Said treasure was left by Gold Roger, the greatest pirate who ever lived and the previous Pirate King, and his dying words have spurred the world of One Piece into an age of piracy, as pirates from all around the world set sail for the Grand Line, the place where the One Piece is most likely hidden.
