Why Alice (Klee’s mother) from Genshin Impact feels like an ENTP, with flashes of ENTJ brilliance – and why she’s a 7w8 at heart Alice is one of those rare characters whose personality seems to sparkle beyond the screen. From everything we know in lore, letters and events, she comes across first and foremost as an ENTP – endlessly curious, quick‑witted, someone who thrives on ideas and adventures. At the same time, there are moments where you see something very ENTJ in her, because only someone with real strategic power could shape Teyvat events the way she has. If you look at how Alice moves through the world, you see classic Extraverted Intuition. She jumps between projects and experiments: writing the famous Teyvat Travel Guide, crafting Dodoco toys, terraforming the Golden Apple Archipelago into a giant puzzle for her friends. That playful intellect is pure ENTP – she doesn’t just follow rules, she rewrites them with a smile. She has that teasing humor too; even in letters to Klee she plays with words, provoking curiosity and laughter. Yet she is not only a dreamer. Her elaborate plans for the Midsummer Island Adventure show the ENTJ side that people sometimes overlook. Designing traps and mechanisms, predicting how the Traveler and companions would solve each step, creating an entire event from afar – that takes vision and structure. Founding the Hexenzirkel, gathering and organizing witches like Mona and others, also shows a mind that knows how to lead and to plan far ahead. Then comes the Enneagram layer. Alice feels like a textbook 7w8. Type Seven shines through in her boundless curiosity, her craving for new experiences and her refusal to be tied down. She leaps from one idea to another, dives into different cultures, even crosses realms, because staying still would feel like withering. There is a bright enthusiasm in every letter, as if life itself is an endless festival of possibilities. But she is not a fragile seven. That eight‑wing gives her a decisive edge, the courage to impose her vision on the world and protect what matters to her. She does not merely dream of new islands; she shapes them. She defends Klee and her friends fiercely, even while orchestrating adventures from afar, and she claims her place among the most powerful witches with confidence rather than timidity. Look at how she parents Klee. She is loving, but not in a conventional way. Instead of staying by Klee’s side, she leaves gifts, guidance, whole adventures prepared in advance. That is both ENTP’s need for freedom and ENTJ’s trust in long‑term plans, but it is also very 7w8: giving her child a world of excitement while knowing she herself must keep pushing into new territories, all while making sure no one can harm Klee. Even her inventions show that duality. A normal tinkerer would stop at toys or books. Alice builds devices that change the way others travel and fight. She manages resources, collaborates with alchemists like Rhinedottir, influences the Knights of Favonius without ever being there in person. There is a sharpness behind the playfulness, a mix of impulsive exploration and firm will. So if you sense her as ENTP, you are seeing her at heart: the explorer, the imaginative inventor, the person who turns every boundary into a game. And if you also notice an ENTJ streak, you are not wrong. Someone had to coordinate all those complex events and carry such foresight. And if you feel she is 7w8, that explains the spark and the steel in her personality. Alice is both the wild idea and the master plan, the eternal seeker and the confident protector, and that combination is what makes her so alive in Genshin’s lore.
Biografia
Alice is Klee's mother, as well as a famous adventurer who authored the Teyvat Travel Guide. She is a polymath whose skills include alchemy, astrology, engineering, magic, and medicine. Additionally, she is an elder within the Hexenzirkel, an organization which both Mona and Mona's Master also belong to. While Alice has not yet been met in-person, she was directly involved in setting up the Version 1.6 event Midsummer Island Adventure and left a phonograph record with a message from her for the event's attendees to find. She was also involved in sending the party to the Golden Apple Archipelago again in Version 2.8's event, Summertime Odyssey, although she does not seem to have a hand in the events that occur afterwards.
