i’m playing ace attorney investigations right now and the “logic” function is so Ni it hurts. Edgeworth’s Ni is so obvious in the way he reasons things. It’s like he gets a premonition then does everything in his power to prove he’s right. Edgeworth often criticizes Phoenix for making up wild ideas of what happened a crime scene, but he isn’t that much different in the way that Edgeworth will come up with an idea first then prove it with evidence! he just does it in a much more organized way than phoenix. if Edgeworth was an Si dom, he’d base his ideas on what’s right in front of him and decisive evidence, instead he sees a piece of evidence, comes up with an idea based on that, then uses the rest of his evidence to back up his idea. An example of this (spoilers for the first investigations game) is in the kidnapping case. even when Lauren Paups literally **confesses to murder** in front of him, Edgeworth listened to his intuition that Lance was actually the killer and then did everything he possibly could to prove that it was him. yes Edgeworth has a very strong belief in the courts and the law, but i think that has more to do with his enneagram. also the way that Edgeworth guess before hand how Phoenix will think it court and sets “traps” for him reminds me a lot of Azula from atla who is an Ni user!
