She is very defensive of her relationships with her children defining her life and the drive that keeps her going through the story being to unite them all (SP6) while also supporting them (particularly Robb) in a way that she is accomodating (SX9) but still nonetheless defensive. Lastly for the SO2 she is caring towards people generally as with Brienne and wishes to win people over instead of stomping them through conflict in her diplomatic role. Lady Catelyn Stark, née Tully, is the wife of Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. Together they have five children: Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon. Catelyn is known as Cat to close family and friends. Catelyn was born into House Tully of Riverrun, the liege lords of the riverlands. She is the eldest daughter of Lord Hoster Tully and Lady Minisa Whent, and has two younger siblings: Lysa and Edmure.
