kabru seems like a very clear INFJ. where is fe > ni? se > ti? why is he voted 1w9 over 1w2? ni is, without a doubt, his strongest function. chapter 55 has a good example of his thought process and the way he makes decisions. he is incredibly focused on the future and focused on long-term goals. when thinking of the best options for his party concerning the canaries (chapter 55, https://i.imgur.com/NzS0RqM.jpg), he focuses in on a singular future that was most likely to play out based off the subconscious information he took in from his time with the canaries and understands every possibility that could happen in that specific future (chapter 55, https://i.imgur.com/SDR6spc.png) before deciding if he liked the outcome. he's a visionary person who views the world through the lens of his goals. kabru is an incredibly analytical person and relies on his own personal observations to guide his own logic. he often collects knowledge for his own benefit; everything he does is methodical based on previous information he's acquired. his need to understand human nature and motivations, especially to understand other adventurers, seems like aux fe & tert ti working together. his stubbornness in his own beliefs, what he considers efficient and his own views on the correct way of doing things (see chapter 45, https://i.imgur.com/iU4hx6e.png) is much more reminiscent of tert ti. he's not insecure in his logic; in fact, he's incredibly sure in his own logic and follows it without need to seek validation from others to soothe an underlying fear of being too emotional. inferior ti makes no sense for kabru's character -- he understands his own thoughts and can point to what guides his logic without a need to prove to others his own intelligence or rely on others over following his own personal logic. kabru balances his social skills and friendly persona with a strict set of morals based around external ideas. his fe is incredibly obvious & follows him through the series... the ability to read body language and instantly understand the emotions of others is something that comes natural to him. his curiosity towards humanity is his defining feature and his need to understand humanity as a whole and overarching values is something that comes naturally to him. he's skilled at building relationships with others and his fe allows him to be highly adaptable, good with words, and completely focused on others. his fe allows him to be observant and learn exactly how to gain someone's trust. inferior se? i would say he's much more emotionally observant (his fe) and less observant towards physical environments, which is shown to be his weakness -- his party is repeatedly wiped out due to this. it's not as noticeable, but kabru has been shown getting lost in thought, completely unaware of immediate danger until directly faced with it (chapter 61, https://i.imgur.com/wC83bYy.jpg). he never uses his se unless to gather information for his fe. as for his enneagram... type 1 fits kabru well. he's incredibly idealistic and his character is guided by his sense of justice. he lives strictly to accomplish his goals and has a very strict idea on morality, what is considered good or evil, and those in power. he's action-oriented and is dedicated to ridding the world, and subsequently dungeons, from evil and corruption, and often falls victim to extreme black and white thinking which drives his morality and view on other people. however... kabru has never cared for keeping peace (focal point to w9) above protecting his own values and the people he cares about. he's shown no remorse for hurting people who go against the well-being of society or those who put personal gain over protecting and caring for other people (chapter 32, https://i.imgur.com/cL7kfoZ.png). he has no problem expressing anger when someone acts against his morality, has no issue involving himself in conflict and is people-focused. even in his desires, his w2 shows through his need to fight for society and protect the unfortunate, outside of just striving to be morally good.
