Rupert tipo de personalidade mbti
Personalidade
"Que tipo de personalidade é Rupert? Rupert é um tipo de personalidade ISTJ em mbti, 6w5 - so/sp - em enneagram, RCOEN em Big 5, em sociônicos."
His arc is all about him learning to define his identity on his own terms, rather than those established for him. Early on, he's dead-set that he's the exact same star his father's hyped him up to be, but as a result, he doesn't have his own real connection to himself outside of his being a fossil fighter and a sort of walking advertisement for FossilDig. It's through his interactions with the patrol team that he learns to become comfortable in himself by rejecting expectations; and while he doesn't shed his ego, it becomes something far healthier. Is his arc based around sense of self, which is usually linked to the concept of enneagram 4 or 9? Yes. But is it about separating the self from the environs around it – that is, undoing the enmeshment with one's effective CV? Also yes, and that's a critical life lesson for the enneagram three: you are not your wall of gold medals. Maybe he doesn't exhibit a profound sense of shame, but e3 actively denies shame in order to overcome it. That's the primary driving force behind his arrogance, especially at the start. He's trying to be the genius he's meant to be, and it's taking a toll on him. Additionally, in his interactions with his father earlier in the game, we see him disintegrating to 9 in his abnegating his desires to escape perceived punishment. He's very, very image-conscious overall. Why 3w4, rather than 3w2? For starters, there's very little 2 in him; he doesn't seem to want to make himself palatable by being nice. Rather, he wants to make himself acceptable by being competent – he doesn't care for the offence he causes. His generally broody attitude is a 4 stereotype, but one that's useful for typing him. He gets fatalistic at points, which is a 4-ish tendency. His ego might be a 3 stereotype, but even his characterisation outside of that stereotype in his development validates the idea of his being a 3. (Note: Rupert's arc has undertones of Fi and Ne development, as he comes to be further in touch with his self, and begins to entertain a degree of whimsy and spontaneity towards the end of the game. Maybe he's just becoming a healthier ISTJ and using Si/Te more judiciously, but there does seem to be some function development going on.)
