People need to understand that this is an on-paper question, not with anecdotal contextual bias from our own lives. Realistically, any two types can make it in a relationship; albeit some much more difficult than others and often requiring more work than the relationship is worth, but to each their own. It's not my place to play God, here. Theoretically, the ENTP is the most compatible. That's just the fact. Not including nurture, beliefs, maturity, or preference. Their cognitive synchronicity (when a function craves to consume or be consumed by its extraverted/introverted counterpart) is 1 for 1. Hero to hero, parent to parent, child to child, and so on all the way down to the 8th function (the demon function). It matches perfectly. Does that mean they always will get along? No. Golden pairs suffer from feeling too cognitively exposed to each other since they can read each other like a book naturally and not everyone likes that. They also suffer from highest highs and lowest lows. It becomes a problem where people try to pass their opinion, preference, emotion, and experiences as objective fact. Do I always like every ENTP I encounter? Absolutely not. Some of the people I dislike the most are ENTPs, but some of the people I admire the most are also ENTPs. That's not type-dependent (though it helps with likeability). Personally, in a romantic setting, I'm super drawn/attracted to xSFJs, but will I ever say that my entire Jungian archetype is most compatible with them because I personally like them? Nah, that's 🤧. With the size of this community, it is not only insanely ignorant and inaccurate to say that, it's also an unfair projection of myself and disregard of the Jungian science to do that. ENTP has the highest social compatibility (meaning sexual and emotional) with the INTJ on-paper. Just press the purple "Alter Ego" letters underneath someone's whenever you message someone who has the same inner letters (xNTx for example) and opposite outer letters (ExxP/IxxJ for example). It somewhat explains what I'm talking about there.
