MY GOAT FINALLY GETTING RECOGNITION I WAS IN THE TRENCHES FOR 4 YEARS what an incredible character! obeying the rules and doing what he's being told his whole life despite feeling that it's wrong, being excited about becoming cap bc it's the first time it feels like doing the right thing, realising they still just used him and he was not the right choice, becoming obsessed with people's perception of him, it destroying his family, still working for someone (val) because he desperately needs to feel useful, being delusional thinking val actually respects him and wouldn't leave him to burn, still trying to prove he's better and more competent and a maybe a bit more ruthless than he actually is, immediately becoming a team player obeying everything yelena "ordered" despite trying to look like he doesn't like them, saving people without a second thought because that's just his nature. My favourite loser ESTJ john walker they could never make me hate u
