foresight by itself doesn't mean you're an Ni-dom, but the way Seia actually thinks and talks totally fits. You can see it in how her visions physically wreck her, yet she still refuses to take a break because she’s so fixated on looking out for everyone especially Sensei. The thing about her Ni isn't that it gives her the visions, it's how she handles them. She doesn't really do the "what-if" thing or look at a bunch of different possibilities. Instead, she connects these tiny, subtle patterns and locks onto one specific, heavy conclusion. Once she’s on that path, she doesn’t really look away. She acts all composed and responsible which is why Nagisa and Hanako respect her so much but she’s honestly just a kid who’s terrified. You can really see that inner conflict with the Fifth Koan. She plays it off like she’s accepted this grim, "it's over" reality, but you can tell she’s secretly dying for there to be some other meaning that isn't so hopeless. She’s basically a doomer with a tiny bit of copium. *here is some of her dialogue on the volume 3 chapter 1 episode 1* "Are you aware of Kivotos' seven koans?" "The fifth one relates to paradise." "Can we prove anyone has ever reached paradise?" "Like each of the koans, this question's intent is vague, but it can be interpreted as referring to the inherent paradox in proving the existence of paradise." "If paradise exists, then the ones who reach it will remain there for eternity, forever enveloped in joy and satisfaction." "If someone does leave paradise, it's because they weren't fully satisfied, so it was never a paradise for them." "Therefore, those who reach paradise cannot be found—and should not exist—outside of paradise." "So, can you prove the truth of someone who does not exist?" "The purpose of this fifth koan is to be nigh unanswerable." "Does truth that cannot be proven become worthless? What is the true question masked behind such cynicism?" "Eden is the Paradise from scripture. It exists nowhere and cannot be found." "In other words, it's nothing but a sweet illusion conjured by dreamers." "You see? Surely, this is the metaphor behind the treaty's name." That totally screams Ni-Ti loop. Seia basically rationalizes her own fatalism by turning the Koan into this fixed, deterministic worldview. Her cynicism isn't even about being "emotional" it's purely analytical. It’s that classic thought process of: "If the future is already set, then what’s the point of even trying?" She doesn’t just take the Koan at face value, either. She’s constantly picking it apart, digging for logical gaps or some hidden meaning. That’s such a Ti trait deconstructing an idea rather than just having a gut reaction to it. High Ni users get stuck in those nihilistic loops all the time when their vision gets too narrow, and Seia is the poster child for that. She sees one bleak future and decides there’s no way around it because that’s what the "logic" tells her. You can really see the Ti vs. Fi difference there, too. If it were Fi despair, it would feel like she was just drowning in the pain of it all. But with her, it’s Ti despair: she’s followed a logical thread all the way to a hopeless conclusion. Because her "doomer" status comes from reasoning things out rather than an emotional overload, INTP honestly fits her way better than INFP imo.
