"Какой тип личности является Colonel Aureliano Buendía (2nd Generation)? Colonel Aureliano Buendía (2nd Generation) - это тип личности INTJ в mbti, 5w4 - sp/so - 584 в Enneagram, в Big 5, LSI в Socionics."

Colonel Aureliano Buendía is one of the characters that resonates with me most, and also a very typical one for personality typing. I'm going to present my ideas about his MBTI, and if I have time, I'll comment on his Enneagram type. I've replied to a comment that typed him as an ENTJ due to his "High usage of Te and Se". Not that thing. It's too HASTY to assign a type based on BEHAVIOUR rather than COGNITIVE PROCESSES, because behavior can be guided by the unconscious rather than conscious cognition. Also, when facing pressure/adversity, Ni doms tend to present much "Se" due to inferior Se grip. -----Original Jungian Theory----- He is absolutely an Ni dominant, with thinking assisting his intuition. Rational types are judging dominant (Thinking/Feeling), who will ALWAYS stick to their reason (Thinking types) or values (Feeling types), caring about "what it should be". However, Irrational types are perceiving dominant (Intuition/Sensing), meaning they are primarily curious about "what is". Just as rational types emphasize either thinking or feeling and subordinate the other, irrational types emphasize either the essential patterns (Intuition dominants) or the concrete facts (Sensing dominants). During his early life, he focused on the essence rather than the present state of things. I remember, for instance, that at a very young age, when he saw a pot on the table, he simply stated, "It's going to drop." He didn't even care about the pot itself at that moment; the image of the "pot" sparked his intuition, giving him the insight that "it's going to drop." This serves as key evidence. -----John Beebe Model----- Unfortunately, the shadow functions often provide harder evidence for typing than the conscious ones, but we cannot clearly see his shadow in the book. So I'm going to analyze his conscious functions. First, dominant Ni with inferior Se. A person with dominant Ni always follows their intuition, in other words, "the inner predictions or visions." The dominant function, with its "Hero" archetype, always seeks to "take the lead." Aureliano's life was filled with insights and "predictions" that did not come from reasoning. He simply "foresaw," or more accurately, "saw" events unfold NATURALLY as if they had already happened, and he followed that lead. He consistently withdrew from "real-life experiences" like social balls. Late in life, he found profound relief in making "Little Gold Fishes." This craft requires significant Se, as it demands engagement with and enjoyment of the tangible process. This strongly suggests that his Se carries the "Anima/Animus" archetype, presenting him with "a mix of desire and rejection." Second, the Te-Fi axis. He developed a deep and pure love for Remedios Moscote, the mayor's young daughter. Upon seeing the nine-year-old girl, he was filled with a "great and tender emotion," and he was willing to wait for her to grow up. He was rational almost all the time, but we can see that deep in his heart, strong feelings welled up. However, his feeling is unstable and seemingly "unreasonable." It was his pure, childlike wish, which shows the puer archetype. His Te is very obvious, so there’s no need to explain much about that. It is clearly not an inferior Fi, however, because it actively "fights" with his Te, indicating it resides in the tertiary position. For instance, when he realised that war was meaningless, his Te “stopped” functioning, showing its “assisting” nature.
