such an obvious 1 wtf lol why lust over anger?? we all know korra is 100% an 8w7, yes? i literally dont even have to make an argument about this, literally just look at Lin's and Korra's differences. Lin strives for perfection in the world. She likes keeping things orderly and perfect, as a cop should do of course.. Korra believes in Justice for all. She fights for everyone and for her own meaning of justice. like an avatar should do. when she sees something unjust, she immediately speaks up and fights. Lin and Korra have different meanings on the word "Justice". When it comes to conflict, Lin is mature and orderly. But, Korra is a bit childish and reckless (not in a bad way of course, I am jus talking abt the differences here) (1) Ego-Resent Fixation: Resentment Always angry with himself and others for not being perfect. Trap: Perfection While demanding perfection of himself he also expects perfection in others. Of course he always hates himself for not being perfect, and is always disappointed in others. Holy Idea: Holy Perfection The seeker for perfection from the outside experiences that his essence is perfect. He can relax. Passion: Anger Again the ego will keep the person in resentful anger because he is not perfect, nor are the people around him. Virtue: Serenity Serenity overcomes anger when one knows that his essence is perfect, as are the essences of all others. (8) Ego-Venge Fixation: Vengeance Destructive of self and others out of a sense of injustice. Trap: Justice Being aware of living in a very injust world, he is very sensitive to any unfair actions or thoughts directed at him. His immediate response is that of revenge. Holy Idea: Holy Truth Once the seeker for justice realizes that his essence follows truly the cosmic laws which are imminently true and just, he will be satisfied and at peace. Passion: Excess The person seeking justice and truth very often overdoes his vengeance in his great moral indignation at injustice. Just as he can punish too severely one who he thinks has wronged him, he can be even more punishing to himself when he feels he has failed in justice. Often he will do physical damage to himself. Virtue: Innocence The excess of revenge on others and on himself can give way to a childlike innocence. "Why should I want to hurt anyone and why should anyone want to hurt me?”
