Great example of an ESTJ. She is very direct in her speech patterns and relies on getting things done in a efficient manner, making her one of the best tacticians in the show (Te). She has always shown loyalty to her duty as a police chief (for many years too, which is a key aspect of strong Si) and relies on rules and stability (Si). In addition to more Si characteristics, Lin places heavy significance on her subjective experiences, often viewing the world through the sphere of her personal experiences. The events she goes through after lashing out at Opal in Season 3 are great examples of Fi grip stress; it's one of the best portrayals of it and it makes me wonder if the writers knew about cognitive functions.
