"Sonic" (better known as 2017 Sonic.exe) is a take on the 2017 Sonic.eXe reboot initially created on May 18th, 2022 by JoeDoughBoi as a concept doodle, before later being refined by Raven, the owner of the 2017 reboot continuity. This take was originally made to be the official variant of the character until he was later downscaled to be specific to the Friday Night Funkin’ mod, Sonic Legacy because of shifting ideas. Despite that, he is currently treated as a replacement for the original 2017 Sonic.eXe, until the time comes for Raven to release her current ideas.
