Here's a random fact. My uncle works in the music industry and he told me that Robert Smith has never wanted to get a manager so he is, himself, his own manager. Also, that's why my uncle got to speak to him and he always says that Robert is one of the most kind and generous people he has met by doing his job!! He usually regrets doing what he does because a lot of musicians he used to admire end up being terrible people or super unfriendly. Robert Smith is super sweet though. Random update: my uncle recently asked Robert to take part in a music festival. Robert James Smith (born 21 April 1959) is an English singer, songwriter and musician. He is the lead singer, guitarist, multi instrumentalist, lyricist, principal songwriter and only consistent member of the rock band the Cure, which he co-founded in 1976. He was also the lead guitarist for the band Siouxsie and the Banshees from 1982 to 1984 and was part of the short-lived group the Glove in 1983.
