Robert Smith MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Robert Smith? Robert Smith is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - so/sx - 496 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, IEI in Socionics.

For sure an INFP and a Type 4: He's a master of self-expression, individuality, and a generator of musical ideas and experimentation. In cognitive functions, his Fi is very apparent as he often adhered to a strict internal value system and was not easily swayed by the values of society in the broad scope of things. A brainstorming of various different abstract possibilities as an approach to music, I think Ne aux is a nice fit for Smith. I also noticed Smith has a tendency to describe past events in vivid detail and often has the nostalgic tendencies usually associated with INFPs. Some of the man's most memorable quotes: "Be your best self and do not imitate anyone else. Find your strengths. They are your talents. They will make you smile and cause you to real joy on the inside." "Don’t listen to those who ridicule the choices you make or the dreams you share. Let no one despise your youth." "I don't care where the Cure is placed in the pantheon of rock. I don't care if we're perceived as relevant. We're never worried how we fit in. I don't even want to fit in." "If you feel alienated from people around you, it's because no one tries to understand you." "I still frequent my parents' house. I go there to escape, back to the bedroom that I grew up in. Just to sit there and feel small." The Fi is strong in this one.
