EDIT: This is an outdated PRE-RELEASE argument. The points I've made here still stand, however, I'm currently working on a complete argument that will cover all the material from 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 so that I can fully illustrate Blade's Si-Te usage. I'm seeing a lot of new comments about his e8 consensus, and to chip in with my two cents, those votes were from before his profile got locked prior to the game's release. As of right now, he seems to be an ISTJ. Don't blindly vote ESTJ without researching his character just because e8 doesn't align with ISTJ. Since one of the mods seemed to have removed my pre-release analysis from the community section, I'll repost it here: Revenge and being obsessed with the past aren't things that are exclusive to Si, but I'm leaning towards it being Blade's dominant function for other reasons. His subjective past impression of Dan Heng is the reason their bond feels so familiar to him, and even then, he categorises Dan Heng as "one of them," with "them" being three out of five people (as said in the "Nightmare" PV) that he seems to have attached the same subjective sensory impression to. Then there's the 'Passerby's Broken Mirror Armour' — one of many pieces from the 'Passerby of Wandering Cloud' Relic set that showcases his Si even FURTHER. It reads: "The unnamed [Blade] gazed at the gap in the mirror armour as if his heart was missing a piece. Each time he gently stroked the gap, he couldn't help but tremble, just as he would be pierced again by that powerful sword. He could not relive his stress, a distant but familiar feeling. The unreal pain was clear and sharp: His body had been torn apart in thousands of defeats, and his opponent always ended him with a neat pierce through his heart. While the would healed, he sewed the fragmented past together stitch by stitch like a tailor of pain. Gradually, the face he saw in the mirror was no longer strange, and every detail of that tragedy became crystal clear. "When putting on the mirror armour, the unnamed somewhat recalled the voice and smile of that master swordsman and felt his heart crack again." Blade's sensory impressions are used as his primary way of navigating the world. He doesn't take information in as it is, rather he makes sense of things through a mental filing cabinet of stored internal sensations that mirror the ones he experienced at certain points throughout his past. His memories are also triggered through the way he makes novel connections between these sensations and people, places, objects and moments that were important to him. He attaches a subjective factor to the concrete which is about as Si as it gets. I drew my conclusions from this post: https://m.hoyolab.com/#/article/7202210
