Si? He's described in the film itself as having a 'sixth sense', and that he knows what even isn't told to him etc. We could argue that the battle scene with him could be a thing of Si, but with all of this information, and as well as some Ni bits from the sequence, there's much more word for his Ni than for Si. It appeared more as if he strategised it at that moment than him relying on a tactic he'd used all the time. His reaction didn't look like that of a failure in the method for the first time, but more of him not being able to pull the risky strategy that he created. And with the sad ending, his Fi gets hit.
