quinn’s development is one of the best parts of the show in my opinion... i love how they didn’t shove how she became much less self centered by the final season in our face but it was just there if you paid attention. her and daria’s relationship is one of the most important ones, so it makes me happy that they went from the mostly negative relationship that they had in the beginning to a relatively good one by the end. daria & her also similar in ways people wouldn’t expect even though she’s meant to be a foil to her. both are hyper aware of people’s perceptions of them, daria on her reputation of being a brain so she has no room to be much else/is afraid that if that identity is taken from her she’s got virtually no defining personality (as seen in quinn the brain) and quinn has the reputation of being a brainless pretty girl so she hides how smart she truly is because she doesn’t want to go against that rep, even though she hates not being able to talk about anything else (as seen in monster). she’s definitely one of my favorites
