Archetype of SX2. Aggressive, confident, seductive and preoccupied with sex appeal. She's shown trying to seduce multiple guys, like Sasuke, Neji, Sai, even Naruto. Despite her inflated ego, she also is shown to have a supportive role in her relationships, aiding her friends or teammates. But her pride also shows in her love for herself - and in how she believes she knows best for everyone (so she's often nagging people like Shikamaru). And in younger days, she sees Sakura (ESE) being bullied and tries to help her, until Sakura turned her back on Ino. But later in the story, Ino takes pride in seeing Sakura "bloom" thanks to her. And just like all of Kishimoto's female characters, her potential was wasted and was given a terrible romantic partner.

Ino Yamanaka (山中いの, Yamanaka Ino, #on knees) is a kunoichi of Konohagakure's Yamanaka clan. She and her fellow members of Team Asuma are their generation's Ino–Shika–Chō trio.
