Hatsuka Suzushiro is a side character in Call of the Night. He, unlike his vampire comrades, has little to no interest in creating new underlings. As a result, he is the only one who doesn't try to put Kou under his spell. Compared to the other vampires, Hatsuka seems friendlier and more helpful. He is also not as straight forward as the others, but rather more distant. He is not ashamed of his appearance, nor is he averse to the male gender and considers himself a man, although he purposefully dresses like a woman.
