It's been months since I've seen the show, but lowkey the more I think about it, the more I start to see INTJ. It feels weird 'cause almost every other iteration of Donnie has been INTP, but ROTTMNT does like to put a unique spin on the franchise characters. I see a lot of inf-Se in the way he tends to splurge on aesthetic things even when it's very unnecessary (the statue bust of himself, the purple jacket, the visual presentation of his drill invention). Whereas I can't really see much inf-Fe? Outside of the stereotype "he's a nerd", he isn't really that awkward? He's got a lot of social confidence and doesn't have the usual inf-Fe hesitation/uncertainty in social situations. Rise!Donnie's very much a drama queen who loves having all the attention on himself, which would be extremely unusual for an IxTP. He does crave validation from his father, but who doesn't? All 4 turtles are very desperate for that fatherly approval (probably due to how aloof Splinter is lol). Not to say that Donnie doesn't struggle with his emotions. If he's an INTJ that'd mean tert-Fi, and at his age it'd make sense for it to be underdeveloped. He's only just started working at communicating his emotions better, like when he apologized to April during "Donnie vs. Witch Town", or the Dr. Feelings therapy Mikey gave him to help him communicate with Shelldon better. Donnie has a habit of not really sympathizing with someone until he directly relates to it. Like in "Pizza Pit" when Mikey's restaurant got blown up but he didn't comfort him until *his* restaurant got blown up as well and he realized how much it sucked. And in when "Breaking Purple" when Dr. Feelings was trying to tell Donnie that his parenting style was unhealthy but it didn't sink in until Mikey directly compared Donnie's treatment of Shelldon to Splinter's treatment of Donnie. Donnie's an empathy over sympathy kind of person, which screams underdeveloped Fi to me. I'd have to watch the show again to pick apart the Ni vs. Ne, Te vs. Ti usage but in general from what I remember I don't think Ni-Te would be too out of character for Rise!Donnie. He is a scientist, yes, but that doesn't automatically make him a Ti-Ne user. edit: excellent argument for ENTJ below by @umbra , I think most of what I mentioned here can also be accounted for by underdeveloped Tert-Se and Inf-Fi. Cognitive extroversion ≠ social extroversion
ชีวประวัติ
The smartest of the turtles, Donnie never hesitates to show off his inventions and rub his brain in others' faces. While his ego and desire to prove himself can make him a pain, he cares deeply about his family and only wants to prove himself to them.
