I'm happy PDB is starting to notice that quiet inventor ≠ E5. The only thing is, I'd have to argue that Donnie is actually E1 when it comes to his core and not E3 — Especially if people are voting him as a SP3. • While it can make sense when first looking into Donnie, he's not as image orientated as typical E3s come off as. E3s are all external — they have social sophistication and skill, conversationally active and concern with status. They carry strong image manipulation, taking on different appearances to satisfy the "thirst to be". Finally, they can struggle with not knowing what they want beyond pleasing others. Donnie counters a lot of these traits, he sticks to his true self and never mold himself to appeal others. If Donnie was a E3, he would be concerned of what he says when it comes to Splinter or his brothers; he would show a strong fixation to his appearance. And this doesn't make anymore sense if we were to label him as a SP3. Being the counter-type of the IVs, SP3s are counter-vain and even tend to dislike those who show vanity. Again, this contradicts with his character, as he is openly prideful in himself, a majority of that pride concerning his achievements with his inventions. This is why I'd argue that he's really E1: • E1s have a fixation towards perfectionism/correction, they have heavy moral values on what's good/bad, right/wrong. They believe that "the world can improve thanks to their intervention." Donnie shows this in the episodes dedicated towards him like "Donnie's Gift" and "Mind Meld" His main intentions is to correct and 'fix' the wrongs in his brothers. • Although both E1 and E3 are hard-working, intellectual, and high with standards, E1s (Especially SX1) are more upfront with their complaints than their counterpart. They're more likely to express how they believe your wrong, unlike E3, who might overlook the same comment because they would deem the action of speaking up as 'inappropriate' when it comes to their persona. "Unlike Threes, Social Ones care very little about what other people think. Their attitude is the opposite of the chameleonic Three. They tend to say things like: 'You do it like this' and 'This has to be how I say.' They have a tendency of thinking there is only one way of doing things." SO1s also tend to believe that they are perfect, they show their strength and moral superiority by saying things like: “I told you so. See how I was right.” I feel like this is very spot on with Donnie, as his main flaw tends to be how overconfident he is when it comes to making predictions. He thinks he's the 'perfect' brother out of the four and uses his intellect as proof of that. This can be seen by how much self-indulgence he pours into his machines, having them praise him for his ideas and executions. I hope I was able to get my argument across. Honestly, both E1 and E3 are strong when it comes to this perception of Donnie, it took me a moment to figure out which is his core. And while I was going to say he would be 1w9, I feel like he's too open with his opinions to have a wing 9, he clearly doesn't mind getting into conflict with his brothers. So I'm settling with 1w2 specifically.

Biography

The smartest of the turtles, Donnie never hesitates to show off his inventions and rub his brain in others' faces. While his ego and desire to prove himself can make him a pain, he cares deeply about his family and only wants to prove himself to them.
