Se: Terry strives on new adventures, connecting with people and enjoys being attuned to his surroundings and what's "In" . He never showed interest in theories, concepts or learning why humans have the traditions they have, he just enjoys experiencing them. Terry indulges in materialistic things like clothes, food, sex and sports (surfing and jet skiing). His need for a certain level of impulsiveness makes working around a structured schedule feel draining (to Korvo's annoyance), especially if Korvo tries to impose too many orders. He craves spontaneity and fun. Instead of focusing on a "what if?" scenerio (dom Ne) Terry's intuitive perceptions are more conclusive and in the moment (“just know” what is going to happen) like when he knew Korvo is going to want to join a dinner party and not enjoy it. He doesn't worry about the future like Pupa destroying everything he loves, or what will happen to them in prison (if anything, he takes the opportunity to do a dramatic Monroe shot), he prefers living in the moment. Terry's method of cheering up Korvo is by going to the mall to meet Funbucket, a more practical method rather then a pep talk. Fi: Part of the reason Terry enjoys Earth so much is because he can be himself. Being an individual in a conformist environment, having his intelligence mocked and slowly realizing humans hate them has chipped at his self-esteem ("My self esteem is so low that I'll go along with whatever you feel") and he craves attention and affection, but also has no restraints in showing them to others. Although he enjoys meeting new people and having an open relationship, he does get jealous when Korvo hooks up with the Red Goobler and when it is revealed that he had sexual relations with Ms. Frankie. Even though Terry has multiple relations with people besides Korvo, he is unable to control his feelings of jealousy and is open about being hurt (as hypocritical as it is). He is emotional first, logical second. Terry is friendly and seems to have the easiest time in his family in making friends or connecting to others. Terry is empathetic and protective of his family. He tries to get Korvo to engage with humans, spills his drink on the bully when she threatens the replicants, is aggressive towards the Red Goobler (more so than Korvo) and is seen protecting Jesse and holding hands with her through the whole British Schlorpians episode. Even though he cares for Korvo, Terry can be secretive about some things and doesn't open himself up completely (he never mentions Terri to Korvo's surprise or his secret doors). Te: When his values come under attack, Terry can be stubborn and initiative in order to defend them. While he usually goes with the flow, there are some subjects that Terry finds himself standing up against (like continuing to go to dinner parties, or adamantly being against becoming more orthodox). Terry can sometimes be overly critical without meaning to be (like calling Korvo a "fake alien"). He is also able to come up with a plan and execute it when he wants to (reading manuals and fixing the freezing lava machine). Ni: Although it's rare, Terry is capable of subconsciously seeing patterns and making connections of happenings (like realizing they are in a simulator). When he and Korvo try to hunt the Red Goobler, Terry realizes his hiding place would be the place Korvo is scared of the most.
