Michael Pierce: "We could say that extroverted [judging] functions are focused on results, while the introverted [judging] functions are focused on the process. For instance, Extroverted Feeling is focused on the—quote—'sentimental results,' which is why they are always trying to affect other people and incur certain sentimental feelings [and] results in them. Introverted Feeling, on the other hand, is focused on the sentimental process, or the subject of happenings, which is why they are often associated with sincerity and passion—because they are more concerned with the integrity of a person's internal process. And we can carry this over to Thinking functions as well: Extroverted Thinking is focused on the functional results, or the goal, while Introverted Thinking is focused on the functional process, or the theories and ideas that are going on behind it." Te over Fe because even if a Fe type (who happens to be fanatical) is rationalizing their actions "for the greater good", they're still interested in the human element of others. A Te type is more-so interested in what's right or wrong, regardless of 'the human element.' They might make concessions to that kind of thing, but in a more impersonal kind of way. So a Te type is going to be even more outcome oriented than Fe (all else being equal). Not to mention that Jung said that the Te type is characterized by organizing the external world into efficient systems and his own principles, prioritizing structure, and objective results; which makes them naturally more prone to be ruthless (in a end-justifies-the-means sort of way) implementing order and authority and valuing practical execution. Jung described this type as one that imposes rational structure onto reality. Also worth it to note that Jung said that the Te type incorporates moral standards in it's laws, a sort of moral absolutist who tolerated no exceptions and will make sure that the standards he abides by will be applied on a larger scale. To my understanding, he said it was (at least in part) due to their repressed F. Both ETJs fit but I chose ENTJ over ESTJ because I think the combination of Si and repressed Fi can make the ESTJ prone to holding onto certain personal "traditions" based on their upbringing whereas the ENTJ more likely to less influenced by those things despite their own favored approaches. For examples of ENTJs who exemplified this think of Napoleon who codified his standards (the Napoleonic Code) and applied them on a massive scale. His focus was entirely on the "functional result" of a unified, reorganized Europe, largely disregarding the "human element" or traditional monarchical structures that preceded him. Or Joseph Stalin who famously ignored the human cost to achieve the goal and was willing to dismantle traditional Russian structures to enforce a new, impersonal ideological system.
