I love this ENTJ twat to bits. He’s practically a one man baseball team himself. His defense and offense is better than those who specialize in it lmao. Performs well under pressure and always clutches up for the team. Bats well against smarter pitchers by using Ni to predict course, struggles against pitchers who throw without thinking. Is amused when forced to play difficult opponents while everyone else complains (maybe some E8 in there). Never minces his words and will criticize teammates for crappy playing to high heaven. Says they should either git gud or quitting works too. He trolls using facts that rub salt into their wounds. Very sparing with his compliments, high standards. The catcher role itself is great for Te Ni users, all about reading the flow of the game and players, making optimal split second decisions. His calls and plays are very efficient. The fact that he knew this was his position when he was a pipsqueak in middle school is so ENTJ, they be running for a side hustle at the age of 12. I assume his Tert Se helps tremendously with the fine plays, like how he can go for tricky pitches and somehow make them into home runs, or make such good pick offs. And he’s quite the nagger, reminding the boys to ice, watching the freshies so they don’t get lost, etc. People say he’s got a twisted personality but they can’t help but admit he’s the foundation of the team. He’s also such a clumsy captain and I effing love it. Inf Fi at its finest. He’s bad at connecting with his teammates’ emotional struggles because he’s just always been good enough to be on the roster. He can’t find the right words to cheer them up but he tries in his Te way. He hides his own struggles, refuses to cry in front of people, eventually breaks down only after becoming loopy from his injury lol. Doesnt like doing embarrassing things like cheering in the stands or doing the roar chant. Doesn’t really know how to get the team to trust him, in the end his magnificent plays gain him respect. It’s just so cute how he’s SO good at baseball and has NO idea how to captain these people.
