Levent's reason for helping others is not out of love. It is because he thinks that's what he's supposed to do. He always mentions ideals, particularly Kemalism, and that's how he gets his motivation. As Cüneyd(Cüneyt) also mentioned, he doesn't really care about love. That's why Cüneyd thinks he is unable to truly help anyone. His Ni and E1 perfectionism, going by the book of how he thinks things are supposed to go. He's far from a practical person, or perhaps a Macchiavellian. If he was a more practical person, he would work in the private sector, save money and help people on the bigger scale, sacrificing some ethical values on the way.
