The Great Intelligence was a mysterious powerful evil entity and one of the biggest threats the Doctor has faced. He is one of "The Great Old Ones". He has done his many mischievous deeds by taking hosts, for example Doctor Simeon. He appeared in stories "The Abominable Snowmen" (1967), "Web of Fear" (1968) and served as the main antagonist of series 7B, where he appeared in stories "The Snowmen" (2012), "The Bells of Saint John" (2013) and "The Name of the Doctor" (2013). He was played by Wolfe Morris in his Padmasambhava host in "The Abominable Snowmen", voiced by Jack Woolgar in "The Web of Fear", voiced by Sir Ian McKellen in "The Snowmen" and played by Richard E. Grant as his Dr. Simeon host.
