Inbe no Akita (斎部秋田 inbe akita), or Akita for short, is a minor character in The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, a film directed by Isao Takahata of Studio Ghibli. He is a very important member of the royal court, which is located in Heian-kyō. He organize ceremonies and he gives people a name. The last -entioned task is important for people to become noble.
