背景
Mary Jane Watson appears in the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series, voiced by Tara Strong. This version, like her Ultimate Marvel incarnation, is a childhood friend/best friend of Peter Parker and an aspiring journalist who dreams of reforming Daily Bugle Communications and rehabilitating Spider-Man's reputation due to J. Jonah Jameson's slander. During seasons one and two, she initially thinks that Peter and Spider-Man are separate individuals, attends Midtown High School as a student, and is friends with Harry Osborn and Flash Thompson.
