The way he went about banishing the clearly innocent and confused MC is wrong, idiotic and callous —especially since he had the young MC work their butt off to be accepted and to diminish any fears that they were a bad omen. Also, if he had closer favour in the young MC's sight... what then would he have done? Especially since his actions could make any gifted and important person vengeful. This is how you make powerful enemies!!! You know, for an ENTJ, he was surprisingly short-sighted! He should have thought further ahead. That said, to his credit, his sudden betrayal of the MC (by banishing them to the wilds) was poorly done and pretty random IMO. Especially since he portrayed himself as an understanding, insightful and potential parental figure in the confused MC's life. Ultimately, I think that he was a victim of bad writing... This is my final verdict.
