I feel like this propensity probably predominantly correlates with an irrational type, particularly an intuitive irrational (Ni or Ne base). Ni bases have rich inner worlds and naturally collapse the external world down to their personal inner world, while Ne bases are known to see the world in terms of essences or potentials objects latently have. The most important theme is that both Ni and Ne perceive things in very abstract and subjective ways and make idiosyncratic connections in their minds, giving rise to extremely unusual and seemingly arbitrary fetishes that seem to have “no rational reasoning or justification”. Hence overall, I’d say due to Ni and Ne bases likely taking the cake, by correlation, the most likely enneagram subtypes to have strange fetishes would be E4, E5, and E7 (but perhaps especially if sx-dom). sx9 (Si base) could also be a secondary candidate.
