I only get off my bike when I fall in love... or fall dead. » i think we all agree (at least in the comment section) that eva is se dom. now, for the auxiliary, i’d like to explain a few things on why fi may be better fitting than ti. first of all, the reason why eva betray snake and fulfill her duty is strictly due to her personal values. seeing the boss staying true to her mission encouraged her to do the same. but in the end, she explains everything to john. she wanted him to know what the true role of the boss was, and ultimately, she wanted him to know that even though she betrayed him, she still loved him. eva values authenticity the most. she can’t stand having to be someone else, and she does not enjoy playing mind games. she often serves in the games (mgs3 & mgs4) the role of the character who tells the truth, who explains everything. first, at the end of mgs3, like we saw previously, and in mgs4, where she explains everything about the patriots to her son when she meets him. this does not contribute to anything for the mission, but she tells it anyway because she strives for authenticity. when things start to get complicated with the patriots, she just leaves. she doesn’t do this out of cowardice, but because, well ; she simply doesn’t care. she goes where her heart tells her to, and isn’t bound to any government or organization. her decision was also bound to her love for snake ; she left because he did. in mgs4, she even works with ocelot to wake snake from his coma, which will cost her her life. finally, eva loves. she loves snake, she loves her sons, she loves the war orphans that she took, and even if their relation didn’t start that well, she loves adam. unlike the latter, who uses his knowledge in how humans think to spy and manipulate them, eva uses her knowledge on how humans feel. if adam is smart, eva is socially smart. to quote « don’t be afraid » which is from eva’s perspective : « Why are you so afraid to feel the pain of love Why are you so afraid to feel the joy of love I see your face I see your sadness I feel the pain inside of me Why are you so afraid to start Don't be afraid of killing me with pain of love Don't, don't be afraid to fall in love again Don't be afraid to fall I'm falling I'm falling in love again » i hope this made sense as english isn’t my first language :)

背景

EVA, also known as Tatyana (Russian: Татьяна), and later known as Matka Pluku, and Big Mama, was a spy who fought alongside Naked Snake during Operation Snake Eater. While posing as a KGB agent, she actually worked as a spy for the Chinese People's Liberation Army, tasked with obtaining the Philosophers' Legacy. She later became the surrogate mother of Solid Snake and Liquid Snake.
