Why ISFJ? With cognitive funtions: Charity shows clear Si Fe she’s steady, loyal, and family-oriented, always grounding Barnum and keeping harmony at the center of her life. I don’t really see Charity as an INFP. People point to her leaving her parents as “proof” of her being some free-spirited risk taker, but that doesn’t line up with how she actually lives her life. She didn’t chase adventure or possibilities she chose Barnum because she loved him, and from then on her focus was building a stable, warm home. That’s much more ISFJ than INFP. Throughout the movie, she’s the grounding force. While Barnum is restless and always chasing something bigger, Charity is content with what they already have. She values loyalty, family, and stability, and she constantly puts her energy into caring for others. Even when Barnum messes up, she doesn’t walk away she quietly waits and supports him, because her priority is harmony and keeping the family together. INFPs are more about individuality and exploring new ideals, but Charity isn’t like that. She doesn’t reinvent herself or search for new experiences she holds on to what matters most and protects it. That steady, nurturing presence is classic ISFJ.
