This dude had many ideas For my class I had to read Mrs. Warren's Profession while looking at the wikipedia page I found this "Shaw said he wrote the play "to draw attention to the truth that prostitution is caused, not by female depravity and male licentiousness, but simply by underpaying, undervaluing and overworking women so shamefully that the poorest of them are forced to resort to prostitution to keep body and soul together."" tldr; he doesnt think prostitution is caused bc of bad woman, it is just woman dont have a lot of options for jobs in that era so they are forced And when I learned he was a vegetarian because he saw animals as his friend I thought he was good but anti-semitism?????? dude calm down

George Bernard Shaw (26 July 1856 – 2 November 1950), known at his insistence simply as Bernard Shaw, was an Irish playwright, critic, polemicist and political activist. His influence on Western theatre, culture and politics extended from the 1880s to his death and beyond. He wrote more than sixty plays, including major works such as Man and Superman (1902), Pygmalion (1912) and Saint Joan (1923).
