MBTI Argument: The consensus is already on Se-Ni, which is very true, so I'll make it brief. Tai Lung's characterisation is that of a student denied his dues, and keeps the one goal in mind his whole life to make his vision a reality. The reason why this isn't Si-Ne is due to the fact Tai Lung only wants what matters to the external system. There is a lack of Si here, keeping Tai Lung from looking at his successes in his own lense, and he is stuck in the judgements of his master and Oogway. Se-Ni. Now, Te vs Ti, Fe vs Fi. There is no way he's using Te to begin with. Tai Lung does not follow the external thought process of "Dragon Warrior = for the chosen one", and the WHOLE POINT of Tai Lung not being chosen was because he refused to accept the external system. Through and through, Tai Lung uses his own rules to determine who the Dragon Warrior should be: and that's the strongest fighter. This isn't dom Fi either, because he's not fighting for the title motivated by "MY hard work, MY reward" or any values that he reasoned for himself, but because he thinks he's the strongest fighter, which he was before Po rolled in. In comparison to an actual Fi user like Lord Shen, operating by "this is all mine and I'm going to take it", Tai Lung did it for more of an external value (Shifu) and his outburst is pure Ti rage questioning why they weren't accepted/worth defending by Shifu. The outburst in Valley of Peace is an Inferior Fe moment. Se-Fe using force to make an impact and showcase his power. He's not trying to actively kill anyone, but to make a point by installing fear. It's a "give me what i want, this is what fear my wrath can make you feel" moment. But his Fe didn't consist of using the collective sentiment, it's using collective fear. Repressed, Inferior Fe right there. Also, ESTP voters, where are you seeing Tert-Fe? His constant anger and use of fear? Tai Lung's motivations have no Fe in them, besides a very unhealthy obsession with making his master proud. He values Fe, but suppresses it so much due to his ego that he doesn't use it smartly. Now, Ti Dom, why. There are too many examples on how Tai Lung uses Ti-Se. Compare Tai Lung's greetings with Lord Shen's (Te-Ni) interactions. Tai Lung is often throwing observations and his deductions everywhere at others when they meet (see: bridge scene). Tai Lung is also a good example of Ni Tertiary, no doubt. Fixated to his idea of destiny that he doesn't for a moment consider anything else, and is blund towards the workings around him unless it coincides with his vision. Say, the new Dragon Warrior is right in front of him and Tai Lung uses his old ways to deal with this instead of looking through the perspectives of why Po was chosen. Never once was this questioned by Tai Lung. Ti - Se - Ni. ISTP it is

背景

The Big Bad of the first film. One of Master Shifu's earlier students and adopted son, Tai Lung is an arrogant Snow Leopard who turned evil and went on a rampage. For that, he was imprisoned for twenty years. It is the prophecy of his escape that sets the events of the series into motion and his defeat at the hands of Po that affirms Po as the Dragon Warrior.
