I do agree his character leans a bit more towards sx6 but this is just my own analysis of him in general :p also cuz he did say hes INTJ 5w6 . sorry if this is worded weirdly I am tired and its been a good while since I watched the 2.5 video 1 fix is more plausible than 8 fix because he is more outcome driven than asserting power or 'control' , he shows a more strategic approach to situations and extreme moral situations and has an extreme internal standard. like by killing the island 2 leaders, he believes the island 1 propaganda & he believes the leaders are wrong for wanting to send aid to them --> he thinks it is a massive risk to send aid and imagines worst case scenario (being attacked) --> he tries to remove possible source of failure (by killing island 2 leaders) --> frames it as that he did it for the greater good to save the island 2 people, preventing a possible war and thus is morally justified. 'why sp5 ?' ---> he doesnt engage in situations automatically, as he said himself in ish's discord server i believe he said something along the lines of • "most issues out there I am extremely indifferent to and if I’m really invested in a problem or issue I have the tendency to argue and voice it” <-- selective engagement & ignoring things that don’t personally matter thus conserving his energy its seen he was very passionate about the entire island 2 and betraying saps thing to save people, he was very passionate in the meeting in the video by voicing his concerns that island 1 could attack them if they send aid, which proves he only pushes situations when they matter to him and considers them more logically rather than socially, it was logical to believe that island 1 would attack them if they tried to send aid due to the various propaganda posters and he stood by that firmly because he believed his logic and reasoning was "right" by his own standards (and his intellectual ego) even though island 1 didnt actually attack them (this is also another reason why he has a 1 fix) also, one of the only reasons he was caught was because he was found in footage mining sand near saps' vacay home, he is very careful about exposure and honestly would have never been caught if it wasnt for that lowkey an 8 fix COULD be seen in him but his assertiveness is purely situational in the sense that he only acts to achieve a certain goal (like trying to influence the leaders to not send aid to island 1) and while he does lead the conspiracy group, he does so very subtly instead of trying to assert his authority over them for the sake of control
