In my opinion, ni function is not always elaborate or planned. Sometimes the user is fully motivated but not planned around their inner purpose and vision. It leaves the door open to secondary options or does not act directly with a clear plan. But throughout what they are going to do, the effect of ni is seen and they move in that direction. This is the flexible version of ni use. For inxjs this may not always be the case, but it is very likely when ni/se or se/ni are side by side. They specifically say they did nothing, and then suddenly you see that they did something. What they do in such a situation may seem sudden and even irrelevant, but if you put all these moments together, the big picture is obvious, and sometimes users do it without realizing it. Sometimes ni function may be in its passive phase. The person is out of motivation or vision and doesn't know what to do, but ni is there and that doesn't change easily. This can also happen when they reach their goal or get the thing they want. Then, under the influence of something else, they become motivated again and take action. I think Anya is ENFJ. She does not internalize her feelings like a fi user, fe does the job of categorizing her feelings with the roles she takes. Yes, she's an artist and she puts her emotions into her art, it's not just for xnfps. Esfj votes may be revisited, but si is not a good explanation for the intuitive nature of the Anya. Most likely, an ESFJ wouldn't be able to take many of the risks Anya has taken throughout her career, or use their intuition to do them. Enfjs are easily misunderstood in ni-using because they are not supported by a sharp function like te and their extroverted function chains are very strong. (fe-ni-se, and this distinguishes them from INFJs.) Enfjs do not have a structure like an xntjs, and they differ greatly from INFJs because of the extrovert/introverted chain of functions. So it might be harder to exemplify the way an ENFJ uses ni, but that doesn't change the fact that they use that function too.
