I've read the novels and watched this mini-series. I can attest to her nurturing personality and mentorship. She was always encouraging but also called out Anne's misbehavior and somewhat self-sabotaging tendencies. She was sweet but strict in her own way but never domineering or controlling like Marilla could be. She saw the best in Anne and helped her through some of her toughest times. Her Fe naturally balanced out Anne's high Fi and her Ni cut through some of Anne's more chaotic Ne traits.
