How the HELL is Paedyn typed as an INFJ ?😭 Where is her Ni DOM? Fe AUXILIARY? Se INFERIOR ?? Intuitive bias goes crazy bc there’s no way PAEDYN nd KAI (those crazy mfs😭) r intuitive cmon now. I’ll have my go at explaining for my ISTP vote since I see no explanation for INFJ despite the majority votes. Still, I’ll wait these profiles out first since it seems to be fresh. Ti dom- Paedyns ti is her dominant function and that’s where we’re at for the majority of the book. She has a logical way of seeing the world and it’s quite literally “survival of the fittest” for her. That comes with living in the slums, surviving using Ti-Se(which is right off the bat seen in the first chapter already, nd consistently throughout the book) Pae is curious nd clever, her truths are hers. She’s a quick thinker with an even sharper tongue, her fast analysis’ are backed by her Se aux to put together information in a second by what she OBSERVES. Did I mention her observational skills are basically her key to survival and so damn good ppl think it’s psychic?? I think readers saw the word “psychic” and were like “Yea, INFJ for sure.” Cmon😭 Pae is extremely attuned to her surroundings and the objective environment, that great deal of environmental awareness is how she’s been surviving. It’s a key part of her, she takes in what she gets and utilizes it, takes it apart, using dom Ti. Her Ti dom bluntness and questions usually gets her at risk in social situations.(inf Fe) Se aux, Ni tert- Pae has little Ni, it can’t be her dominant or aux function. And no, for you INFJ voters, she does not use ni dom in seeing patterns on random ppl to make accurate psychic judgment, there are no patterns to guess from. It’s literally just her using her observational skills and quickly piecing it together based on the information in front of her using her combination of Ti-Se. OBSERVATION. She’s adaptive and gathers constantly shifting info AS it happens. It’s a key factor for Se, there is no way it is inferior in Paedyn, it’s literally who she is. Like Kai, she is someone who is quick on her feet, focused on the moment, and very adaptive to her surroundings (particularly fighting-wise) She said being unaware of her surroundings literally scares her😭✋She doesn’t go on a tangent, she assesses what’s in front of her presently (when she got tricked by Ace’ illusions, nd the only way she saw thru was by noticing the SWEAT off this man’s face) Pae sees it as it is, she doesn’t try to look any deeper than what it is. she is incredibly quick with her assessments, ones Ni dom users would probably get as a “hunch” rather than the more present, active way Pae gathers her info using Ti-Se. Her Ni tertiary function that provides her “a bad feeling” on some things is where she is less confident. It is less accustomed to her which she promptly ignores for her more favored functions of Ti-Se. Inf fe-Paedyns inferior Fe is consistently referenced throughout the book especially coming into the trials, social norms aren’t familiar to her and she has to repeatedly tell herself to “play the part” -what her fe is telling her to do, she’s still aware of it helping her out even if she herself doesn’t usually use it. She’s calm, cool, and collected, but she doesn’t know how to handle her emotions, and it seems she herself is slow to understand these feelings(Kai). When she’s fighting/training she’s able to channel these emotions rather than dealing with them. Se is her comfort. Oftentimes she has no idea how to react socially, what the ppl want to hear, and instead tells her blunt truth(a consistency throughout the book😭) When she’s unsure how to respond to something, she asks a question instead to deflect back to the other person (which happens constantly as she refers back to Ti where she’s most familiar)Ti-Fe. Her Fe is inferior, and is only brought out when it suits her self-preservation Ti needs or to (bluntly) win ppl over, but it’s not a high value to her. Paedyn nd Kai r alike, that’s why they r so easygoing nd drawn to the other. Ti nd Se. Why Pae finds it easy to interact nd relax w him, she can be more herself, bc he’s similar, nd vice versa. Her Ti-Se nd his Se-Ti interact playfully. We see countless times how Pae nd Kai mirror eachother in mannerism/habits/thoughts. They play w eachother. In dual POV we literally c them thinking the same thing at the same time😭 (the first trial they had the exact same thought process waking up, etc.)Their shared use of Se (how they release frustration, relief, ease w fighting for the fun of it) is something they have in common and bond over. That paired with the sharp analysis nd wit of Ti contributes to the easy banter between the two. Feel free to correct me or give a counter argument but rn this is my opinion on it. Also, Kai is most definitely an Se dom nd not Ne dom which I also cannot believe ppl thought bc what??😭 but I’ll do that argument another day lol. Anyways, again. Paedyn is ISTP. And Kai is (likely) ESTP.
