I think her works ooze of an evocative landscape that fits her way of seeing the world in an almost unconscious non self-centered way (unlike most of us INFP do). That's what makes her works unique, because they come mostly from her own intuitive feelings which she brings out with mostly improvisation and inward looking. I really admire artists that just want self-expression more than being commercially successful. But I'm glad that she managed to make it and become relevant, so she can keep doing what she loves and enjoying her own music.

Ichiko Aoba (Japanese: 青葉市子) is a Japanese indie-folk singer and songwriter who was born in Urayasu, Chiba and raised in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. She started playing classical guitar when she was 17 and released her first album ‘Kamisori Otome (Razor Maiden)’ in 2010 at just 19 years old.
