Scrappy idolises his uncle Scooby and often assists Scooby and his friends in solving mysteries. With a highly energetic and brave personality, despite his small size, Scrappy is the opposite of his uncle; Scrappy usually insists on trying to fight the various monsters Scooby and his associates encounter directly. But, there are times when he shows a little cowardice. When he started traveling with Scooby, he was very naive on how do deal with danger, but as he got older, he learned that there's a time to be bold and a time to retreat.
