I see ENFJ over ENTP. This is why : Julian Morrow has an excellent ability to present himself as an intelligent, deep individual. He certainly is indeed educated, has good abilities to teach and yet there is something in him that is very elitist, very pretentious and quite ignorant. In order to understand what I mean let's compare 2 ancient Greek philosophers : Socrates, an ENTP and Plato, an INFJ. Now, Plato criticized Socrates also because of Socrates "did not love people enough". For Socrates, in his own words, the truth is the highest value, even higher than life. Plato is a man of a different kind. He is an idealist, he is as well quite elitist, in the cave analogy he mentioned that only some people can understand the true reality and hence they should also be the rulers of the state. The problem with Plato and Julian however is that they don't see or accept contradictions to their own ideal theory. They either are too dumb to notice them, which makes them at least a questionable authority or they willingly ignore them, which makes them intellectualy dishonest. If you remember the quote about Julian, the one when Bunny described him, you will see exactly that. Julian picks his favorite sweets or ideas, and leaves the other ones for the other people to eat. This kind of error happens when the naturally sceptical and questioning Ti function is either not well developed or it's naturally inferior. Plato had tertiary Ti, and Julian, assuming that he is an ENFJ has inferior. Socrates however had auxiliary Ti, and this is also why he is so different from Plato. He isn't scared of offending people with his questions because people matter little to him. However to Julian, his reputation and his impression is quite a strong motivation, hence why he has left the group at the end of the book. Feel free to argue with me or correct me.
