This Joker is definitely the "brains" of the trio. He's based on the golden age murderer Joker with huge, ambitious schemes with meaning. He's similar to the Dark Knight Returns Joker in the fact that they're both a lot more analytical but he's even more similar to Jack Nicholson's Joker but more calculated. Anyway, he's a good example of a criminal mastermind rather than an anarchistic psychopath.
