Ballet is actually one of the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing things I've ever seen. The delicacy, lightness, airy and flowy nature of both the dance moves and the dancers in their outfits, mixed with the wondrous classical music in the back just fills me with so much joy. Only downside is, I know how competitive, toxic and elitist the sport can be. It can also be a huge breeding ground for injuries, eating disorders, health, weight and body issues. So I hope anyone who does/used to do ballet recovers from those things.
