What makes this more Ne is the fact that it wasn’t necessarily “I’m 100% sure the button will/will not destroy the planet”- Ni, like John Locke’s interpretation. More like “nothing can happen, but the destruction of the planet can happen too, and this/that can happen too,” which is more Ne than Ni. He sees many possibilities.
