I’m going to type my friend because she has ADHD, and honestly, I do too, but it works very differently for each of us. In her case, it fits more of the stereotypical idea of ADHD, she struggles with being organized, she jumps from one thing to another, and she often feels bad about not being able to get her life in order. In my case, it’s the opposite. I’m very organized, and I have a clear idea of what I want to achieve. But when it actually comes to sitting down and doing it, I often just don’t feel like dealing with it, so I end up avoiding it, giving up, and then getting frustrated with myself for not being productive, even though I know I’m capable and I have all the tools I need, I just don’t always have the motivation to act on it.
