Obvious ISTP. Matt utilizes his internal framework, and approaches situations the way he finds best fit, even if directed (Ti dom). Just because he does Mello's dirty work, does not mean he was most complaint, he only gives it his all if it interested him. His Se is prominent in how he has a firm grip around his surroundings, and keeps up in observing his environment which made him better at spy work than Mello, someone whose forte resided in devising elaborate plans and directing them (ENFP: Ne-Te). His use of Ti-Se is why I think he indulges in video games in first place. Once his environment is lacking (watching Mogi + Aizawa gets repetitive), he plays video games instead to satisfy himself. This also goes back to how he only acts upon his work if he deems it fit. I also don't see Ne at all? So the fact he is leading with ENTP is baffling, little screen time = little investment in typing, I suppose. Matt was much more grounded, and did not consider the possibilities of his actions, but rather acted on whims, aka tert. Ni (which also lead to his downfall). Most definitely, he exhibits polr Ne. He demonstrated inf fe in how he did not prioritize/consider the emotions of others in the time we saw him, or at least did not grasp the concept as easily. Unlike an ENTP, Matt does not use Fe as apart of his operation in order to accomplish his tasks. He focuses on getting his job done by means of his own logic or drive and using his environment as an asset to achieve it. (Continued in replies).

Matt (マット, Matto) is Mello's friend who lends him aid on the Kira case. Like Mello and Near, and earlier, L, Matt was raised at Wammy's House—Watari's orphanage for gifted children in Winchester, England.
