It's interesting that Eren is ISFP and Reiner is ESFJ. Their cognitive functions are the opposite of each other's and they're both foils of each other. Similar in background, similar in intentions, but using a completely different approach and being in different mental states to achieving their goals. Anyway, he is a clear Fe dom who does show Te in cases of an extreme mental breakdown. He struggles between his soldier and warrior persona and the reason is that his main duty and goals align with his warrior side which is high Te but his immediate duty, along with his actual ego and emotions follow his soldier persona which is high Fe. I also suspect that he uses Te to control Bertholdt and Annie because he feels like that's the only way he will be respected. After going through an onslaught of failures and ridicule, he likely thought that he can only be respected and given some form of positive affirmation if he becomes someone entirely different from himself (Te demon). Note: Reiner is mentally deranged by this point Yams please just give him what he wants and let him die.

Reiner Braun (ライナー・ブラウン Rainā Buraun?) is the Vice Captain (副長 Fukuchō?, also translated as "Deputy Chief" or "Vice Commander") of the Warrior Unit and the main protagonist of Attack on Titan from the Marleyan perspective. He is the illegitimate son of an Eldian and a Marleyan and grew up in Liberio's internment zone. Eventually, he was selected as a child to become one of Marley's Warriors. At the age of ten, he inherited the power of the Armored Titan.
