Antoine Fuqua (born January 19, 1966) is an American filmmaker and comic artist. He was originally known for directing music videos for Toni Braxton, Coolio, Stevie Wonder and Prince including the music video for "Gangsta's Paradise" (1995). He started his film career in 1998 and earned a name in Hollywood after directing the 2001 crime thriller Training Day. Fuqua has since made action, crime, thriller and drama films including the Equalizer films and the remake of The Magnificent Seven.
